Rep. Thomson represents Atchison, Holt, Nodaway and Worth Counties in the Missouri House of Representatives.

He and his wife, Nancy, reside in Maryville and have two married daughters and four grandchildren.

Heavier Weighted Key Votes in 2014

1.

Voted in favor of Senate Bill 1 which gave over $1.7 billion in special tax breaks to one company. We were opposed.
 

2.

Voted in favor of Senate Joint Resolution 27 protecting electronic communication and data under the Constitution. We supported this joint resolution.  
 

3.

Voted for House Joint Resolution 68 placing the largest tax increase in Missouri history on the ballot. The increase is estimated to be over $600 million annually. We opposed this tax increase.
 

From the 2014 Legislative Session

Rep. Thomson voted against our recommendation once during the 2013 special session and five times during the 2014 regular session. He voted in favor of SB 1 during special session, which we opposed, and in favor of SB 723, HB 1133, HB 1495, HB 1501 and HJR 68, all bills we recommended voting against during regular session.
