Heavier Weighted Key Votes in 2014
1.
Voted against Senate Joint Resolution 27, protecting electronic communication and data from government intrusion. We supported this resolution.
2.
Voted for House Joint Resolution 68 placing the largest tax increase in Missouri history on the ballot. The increase is estimated to be over $600 million annually. We opposed this tax increase.
3.
Voted against Senate Bill 509 which cut income taxes for businesses and individuals in Missouri. We supported this bill.
From the 2014 Legislative Session
Rep. Kelly voted against our recommendation 16 times during the 2014 regular session. He voted in favor of SB 723, HB 1133, HB 1495, HB 1501, HA 2 to HB 2011, and HJR 68, all bills we recommended voting against during regular session. He also voted against SJR 27, SJR 36, HJR 47, SB 509, SB 523, SB 656, HB 1173, HB 1307, HB 1490, and HB 1770, bills we recommended supporting.
